Meg Spicer
Spicer Chiropractic
Doctor of Chiropractic

Dr. Spicer first discovered chiropractic when she found herself with another episode of low back pain. Chiropractic helped her to find relief aiding daily aches and pains, as well as the long-term benefits of injury prevention following many years of shoulder pain as a competitive swimmer.

Dr. Spicer earned her Doctor of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic West, San Jose. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a Dual Major in Sociology from Keene State College, Keene, NH. She completed a rotation with the Department of Veteran’s Affairs in Redding, CA working with interdisciplinary providers co-managing patient care. Upon graduation, she opened her private practice in San Mateo, where she focused on extremities, ergonomics, and rehabilitation. She values each patient with the same level of care she expects her loved ones to be treated when they seek professional medical attention.

Dr. Spicer provides a thorough examination of each new patient to ensure she delivers the highest standard of care. She works with a network of interdisciplinary experts to co-manage cases including Pain Management, Neuropsychologist, Physical Therapy, and other licensed experts.

Dr. Spicer was awarded the New Doctor of the Year by the California Chiropractic Association In 2018. Dr. Spicer is an advocate for the patient’s access to care and the betterment of her community, serving on various boards since her undergraduate to present, including Chiropractic Associations, STEM education, and Chiropractic Research.

Dr. Spicer enjoys learning new techniques to better care for her patient. Outside of the clinic, she is exploring the forests and lakes with her dog.

Annamarie Buonocore
Senior Care Authority
Bio for SCA Website
From a young age, Annamarie Buonocore gravitated to elders in her
community. She cherishes the stories of her grandparents and other
relatives and keeps them in mind with everything she does, realizing
that everybody has a story. Her love for elders inspired her to join
Senior Care Authority in 2018 as the area owner for the San
Francisco Peninsula. Her territory is from San Francisco to Palo Alto
and includes the coastal back count as well.
In 2017, Annamarie lost her grandfather to Alzheimer’s Disease. She
is well versed in the process of finding care and residential living
solutions and feels that no one should be alone through that process.
She remembers her grandfather trying to live in the past and the
worry his wandering caused for other family members. She also
remembers how it was difficult for her uncle to handle the process of
seeking care while holding a full-time job.
Annamarie is here to consult and help with paperwork, touring of
facilities, rent negotiations, and other parts of the often-challenging
placement process. She has helped dozens of families over the last
couple of years and has consulted on issues such as taking pets to
assisted living or overcoming resistance from a parent to seek help.
Annamarie enjoys what she does and is thrilled when a senior finds a
new happy home.
Annamarie comes from a diverse background of publishing, sales, and
marketing. She is also a Toastmaster and is involved with the Greek
Orthodox Church. In her spare time, she enjoys playing with her two
dogs, Pericles and Sophocles.

Laurie Keit
Seasonal Celebrations
Garden Designer & Consultant
Laurie Keit has been designing residential gardens in the San Francisco Bay Area since 2001, with a focus on San Mateo and Santa Clara Counties. She began studying soil biology in 2002 and is a Master Composter for the County of San Mateo.
Concerns about food safety and shortages from Covid-19 prompted her to begin teaching people how to grow their own organic produce using Aeroponic technology, which she believes will be the future of growing. This technology allow you to grow 20 or more plants in less than 3' of space, indoors or out, grow 3x faster, get 30% more yield and saves 98% of water used in traditional gardening. With temperatures rising and California's rainfall levels dropping, this offers a valuable and viable alternative to in-soil gardens.
