Victorian Days Walking Tours: Burlingame
Complementing its Victorian Days at the Old Courthouse, the San Mateo County History Museum is offering FREE walking tours throughout the Peninsula this summer. From Daly City to Pigeon Point, visit cemeteries, museums, stables, downtown sites, interesting residential areas, a historic railroad depot, a dueling site, a jail, a slot machine collection and a lighthouse. Please note that many of the walking tours require reservations.?

Join the Burlingame Historical Society as we explore Burlingame’s history hiding in plain sight! We will depart from the Burlingame Train Station as we walk to show historic spots right in (and near) the downtown area that you might have overlooked before! Where was the creek that flooded the train station every year? Where was the first city hall? The first movie house? Discover the answers on a one-mile walk. Limited shade; bring a hat and water.
