Ania Slonina, a 30 +year veteran of the employee benefits insurance industry, joined De La Torre & Associates in 2016 and currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Operations in addition to overseeing a book of business. She is well versed in all lines of coverage and funding arrangements including self-funding and captive funded products.
Ania holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley and a Master of Arts in International Relations from Schiller University, Paris France. She enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends and is also very active in Polish Community of the San Francisco Bay Area. A native San Franciscan, Ania and her husband currently reside in Redwood City, California.
Ania will provide an update on the CARES act, explain What health insurance carriers are doing for employers and provide a comparison of the Federal COBRA and CALCOBRA. Handouts will be provided with instructions and websites for attendees to monitor for future updates.
