Children: Three children, one 18-month-old boy, one 4.5-year-old boy, and one 6-year-old girl
Schedule: Monday-Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. 48 hours a week. An additional two date nights a month until 8:00 pm. 50 hours per week

Our generous and active family of five is looking forward to welcoming a calm, professional, and educated nanny into their lives. Candidates must possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree related to children as a minimum requirement (no exceptions). They are seeking a professional who is experienced in RIE (Resources for Infant Educarers®) approaches. An ideal candidate knows with and is fond of Janet Lansbury's teachings, respectful caregiving, and child-led play. The role emphasizes childcare, child development, and child education, as well as an aptitude for empathy, love, and respect toward children.
Our family values establishing a partnership with an individual who can show their abilities from previous professional roles, as well as their ability to encourage children to develop while possessing the fortitude to guide them. A key skill set for this position is the ability to be attentive and engaged as an observer. A forward thinker who can help their children understand what they are exploring and give them tools along the way.
It is the primary responsibility of this position to focus on their children. It is important for their next teammate to assist their children in cleaning up after themselves and promoting a level of independence. They need someone who will guide them in the process by also demonstrating an ability to lead by example with hands-on help. Providing breakfast clean-up assistance, folding laundry during downtime, and driving the family vehicle to pick up children from school on time are among the responsibilities.
Their ideal match is an ambitious professional passionate about their career and forward development. Reading relevant scholarly books and articles, listening to industry-relevant podcasts, and sharing their knowledge with mom and dad. Candidates should be able to showcase their working knowledge and devise how they intend to implement forward development. A proactive nature is an imperative attribute for success. When encountering challenges you cannot solve, have the willingness and ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve through research and development.
It is rare that their match will be with all three kids at the same time during the week. The majority of your week is spent with their 18-month-old. You will spend Tuesdays and Thursdays with their 18-month-old and 4.5-year-old until the Fall when the 4.5-year-old starts school five days a week.

Their 18-month-old naps daily between 1:45 pm and 4:45 pm. A casual morning includes getting ready for the day and going on an outing. Followed by lunch, a bath, and his nap.

On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, their 4-year-old attends school until 1:30 p.m. At that time, school pick-up is needed. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, he will be at home all day. Up until the Fall, when he will attend school five days a week. From 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm, he naps daily.

Their 6-year-old attends school Monday through Friday. Each day, she gets home by 4:00 pm from a carpool, when both of her brothers are napping.
School drop-offs are not necessary for the morning since mom and dad handle that on their way to work.
